Making Clay Bowls Part 3: Adding Details & Texture

Our first annual EMPTY BOWLS DINNER & FUNDRAISER will be held on
Friday, April 1, 2016, 6-9pm
in the HS Cafeteria

The students are almosdone with the construction of their Food-Inspired Bowls. The bowl construction is due on 11/5 for B day classes and 11/6 for G day classes. Any student who does not complete their bowl by these due dates may make use of the extended due date (Friday 11/20). Extended due dates in Ms. Held's class mean you must work on your project outside of class time (after school, lunch, study hall, home). If you have the bowl construction completed by this extended due date you will still receive full credit for the project.

Below are some photographs of all the amazing details and texture the students are adding to their bowls. Students are busy sculpting, stamping and designing pasta noodles, rice, seeds, avocado, cookies, chocolate squares, chicken legs, cinnamon sticks, bacon strips, drum sticks, potato wedges, pineapple, cake pops, sushi and more.
