Our first annual EMPTY BOWLS DINNER & FUNDRAISER will be held on
Friday, April 1, 2016, 6-9pm
in the HS Cafeteria
Back in September and October Ms. Held's Clay Class students created their Food-Inspired bowls for our first annual Empty Bowls Dinner & Fundraiser. After several months, during which time the bowls were drying and being fired, the students are finally getting glaze them. Glaze is essentially liquid glass. We use commercial glazes, which are pre-mixed colors. The students have hundreds of colors to choose from and are carefully selecting colors that will make their food-themed bowls come alive. We can't wait to finish (due date is March 4th), fire them in the kiln and then see the finished results!
