The first annual EMPTY BOWLS WHS was a HUGE SUCCESS! We fed close to 400 people (including over 60 volunteers) and raised well over $4,000 for the Food Bank of the Hudson Valley with 50% of the proceeds earmarked for the Country Kids Food Pantry In Washingtonville (final dollar amounts still being calculated). Wizard Nation is truly a magical community. Thank you to all the students, parents, teachers, staff, administrators, and artists who made bowls. Thank you to all our volunteers, donors, and vendors. Thank you to the Washingtonville community and beyond for your support. THANK YOU!

To the Washingtonville High School students who made bowls, planned the event, sang songs, and volunteered: You are making the world a better place with your creativity and volunteerism. Never let anyone tell you that your voice, your passions, your choices and your actions don't matter. You are changing the world...one bowl, one song, one act of kindness at a time.
